The success of a small choir depends on the commitment of each member. Please only apply if you think you will be able to attend at least 8 out of every 10 rehearsals

Our ideal make-up is 40 singers - 16 sopranos, 12 altos, 6 tenors and 6 basses. As with almost every amateur choir, we are short of tenors but, from time-to-time, we have vacancies in other sections.

It is a sad fact that most amateur choirs are now suffering from a shortage of men.

Gentlemen, please come to a rehearsal and give us a try. It is not essential that you are able to read musical notation. The only requirements are a voice and the ability to sing in tune.
