Come and sing

The oratorio The Seasons is one of Haydn’s last major works. In it he continues the tone painting that characterises his more frequently performed ‘The Creation’– lambs leap, fish teem, bells toll, rifles crack, the cock crows and the frogs croak. Here is an opportunity to become acquainted with some delightful music for singers and players alike.

The Penyard Singers are an amateur, mixed-voice chamber choir based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England. Profits from all our concerts go to charity or in support of community projects.
